Review
Etharkkum Thunindhavan is a movie with a typical Pandiraj touch but this time with more emotions and a very strong content.
The first half of the movie is for mass audience. Suriya with all his charm shines throughout the movie. He fights, dances, sings, and woo his love interest making it a perfect first half full of entertainment. Bits of Soori’s and Pugazh’s comedy works fine and doesn’t make a cringe experience unlike other recent movies where comedies look forced.
With lighthearted moments and occasional action sequences, first half ends in a decent way. The second half of the movie swoops into the story and the cat and mouse game begins.
What impressed me the most was that the cliches were broken by Pandiraj with this screenplay. The hero himself gets affected by a problem unlike in other movie and that made the impact more strong in Edharkkum THunindhavan. With thunderous background music of D. Imman, Etharkkum THunindhavan was a good watch with very good performances.
Conclusion
Ethrakkum Thunindhavan is a perfectly balanced movie with the right amount of entertainment and a very strong content.
