Introduction

So my friend and I were desperately looking for a TV show to spend our weekend on. Netflix knows us too well, which is why it recommended the new TV series created by Fauda, from that moment we were reluctant to let it go.

Aside from a few scenes, most of the acting skills are quite good. There are some known actors and anonymous actors. The story is great, much like the complexity of intelligence agencies and their ecosystems.

Comprehensive plot analysis

A former Israeli agent survived four years in a Mexican prison after performing a mission in Mexico, and became a guide in Israel, marrying an American citizen ballerina who moved to a famous ballet company there. While returning to New York for an interview for another position, she was killed in a hit and run in Jerusalem.

Well, this marks the beginning. The husband has a teenage daughter, the ex-wife is an Israeli lawyer, and the new family of three lives in this incredibly stately home, even though these two professions will never support her. Very good house, but untrustworthy.

We were introduced to possible suspects from the first episode. Along the way, we found out that she was a CIA agent. She had an ongoing extramarital affair with an Israeli. She had a superstition of a dancer, her age. 20 years.

The husband flies to the United States and finally reveals the truth. His late wife prepares to deliver secret information about the alleged sale of state secrets by the son of the President of the United States. He also learned that she had been unfaithful to this much older man and that he himself had secrets.

The husband was involved in a crime (murder of a bad guy) in the United States, and at the same time obtaining more information. The CIA offered him a deal, but he broke free. Eventually, he learned that his ex-wife had been murdered and his daughter was taken away.

And the season ends! This is the hook for season two. Only if Netflix decides to give it a shot.

A Few Negatives

Searching for answers in a foreign country and in a completely unfamiliar environment, he did not deliberately seek, think and act, but simply killed everyone who crossed his past, thereby accidentally endangering friends and family. I do not. Count the corpse behind it.

With each episode, the story of who did what and why became more and more incredible and confusing. A top CIA agent killed a top Mossad agent for no reason in front of witnesses, come on!

Too much time is wasted on running, hiding, fighting, car accidents, and other boring things. The show (9 episodes) is already too (a lot!) Too long. However, since the end of the show is that the children’s daughter is kidnapped, we have to wait for the author to plan another season. My goodness! For those who are looking forward to it (not me!), let us hope that the producers have some understanding of their respective settings.

Conclusion

HIt and Run Movie Review
HIt and Run Movie Review

When I decided to jump in to see it, I was very happy because I loved Fauda. The first few episodes seemed to be building something, but then the plot degenerated into a lot of running, fighting, and driving in the dark. Too many scenes are too dark to keep up. The last episode is too dark, I really can’t tell who is in the scene. I don’t know why they can’t just turn on some lights.
