Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow: Oh, no, my fiancΓ© was helping with honeymoon destinations.

Captain America/Steve Rogers: Yeah… we’re getting married.

Apple Employee: Cool, where are you guys thinking about going?

Captain America/Steve Rogers: Um… New Jersey.

Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow: What about the nurse who lives across the hall from you? She seems kind of nice.

Captain America/Steve Rogers: Secure the engine room, then, find me a date.

Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow: I’m multitasking.

Critic Reviews

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier neatly and entertainingly puts into motion some big changes in the Marvel universe, while still sticking to its own charms – no easy feat, but one fit for a hero.” MTV

It was and is a goldmine for the audience

Captain America, being the fourth trilogy Marvel produced, is a job done to perfection. I seriously like Marvel for its adaptation skills. Adapting from a comic book is a very difficult job. One mistake and you will end up being a “Fantastic four” no matter how hard you work for the movie and how hard the cast worked for the performance delivery. Especially, when the audience for your movie is extremely sensitive to their favorite superhero.

Here’s how I no Captain America did a successful job

My nephew asked me to bring him to the theatre for this movie. I usually say no to almost everything being asked if it doesn’t appeal to me in the first 5 seconds. I don’t know why but I do it. This time going to watch a film appealed to me.

Fast-forwarding to us watching the movie. I got diagnosed as my phone vibrated. I took it out of my pocket to switch it off because we were in the middle of a fighting scene. After putting it back, I looked at my nephew. He was looking at the screen with so much concentration and devotion that his mouth was wide open and gasping.

He was not even touching the popcorn. I don’t know how much you understand children, but if a child is giving up his food for something, then it means that “something” means everything to him.

On our way home, we talked continuously about this movie. My nephew was talking his fantasy out. He was so excited about the captain and he eagerly wanted the next part of this film.

The One man army villain

The winter soldier has a very unique story as compared to the other Captain America trilogy movies and other benchmark Marvel movies. You can say that by far, this is the best solo Marvel comic universe movie ever made. The reason being the villain. Single man. Unlike other MCU films, like Avengers, the Iron Man trilogy, and The Thor Trilogy.

The captain fights only one man in the entire movie which creates a Polarising effect for the audience. When there is a single villain who is massive and powerful, the tension rises between the two ears of the audience. That tension attaches them to their seats and increases their engagement with the film. The MCU used this effect in this movie very well.

Captain America The Winter Soldier Review

That’s it, pals. My take on this movie ends here. I really appreciate that you took the time to read my mindless blab. Tell me which other MCU movie you want me to talk about.
