One Line Review: Vin Diesel’s xXx is a jam-packed movie of action and mind-boggling stunts.
Introduction
Yo, Guys! Weβre back with another movie review and this time weβre diagnosing xXx which got released on the same day in 2002. Weβll be diving deep into what made this film a success even though this film didnβt have a βGodβ Level plot and depth. Excited? Letβs go…
Iconic dialogues from this movie
βI noticed you have three X’s tattooed on the back of your neck. I think that’s rather appropriate since you’re looking at three strikes. Grand theft auto, reckless endangerment, and that little bridge stunt of yours make you a three-time loser. Maybe you ought to call yourself “Triple X.” But if you do what I want, I’ll make all your little recent criminal transgressions go away and let you get back to that pathetic excuse of a life.β
Plot Summary
Athletic Xander Cage is ordered by the government to infiltrate a Russian crime ring, to stop them before they cause any harm to the United States if he doesnβt want to go to prison for his past deeds. The place he is supposed to go is known for its tough security and no one has ever made a comeback from there. Will Xander survive the hell?
New Masala to the old school recipe
One of the best-directed action movies in recent years is certainly one of Van Diesel’s best movies, although these types of movies may have been declining in the past ten or twenty years. Because as the concept got famous more and more directors and story writers penetrated, and the more they penetrated, the lousy it became. There was one point when every other new release was action with similar stunts and similar chase scenes with explosions.Β
It is almost unbelievable that a new movie with the same old-school action concept looks so beautiful and fresh. It doesn’t have an extraordinary plot and story like those oscar winners. Neither it has a soul-sucking depth to it. But it has something which almost every action film released before didn’t have; a sense of stunts and explosive action. An interesting story that needs attention, the highest level of intense action scenes.
I should also mention Vin Diesel, he is a master actor and action star who has participated in some impressive stunts. Shooting, driving, running, jumping, parkour, flying, this character completed 124 minutes of everything in a very stressful movie, which is no small feat for an action movie.
So much action that everything else fades out. Crazy fun action (Honestly)
This was one of the craziest and simply entertaining movies I’ve seen in months, perhaps years!!! This movie is nice and rustic. It shouldn’t be taken too seriously, and neither should we. XXX is an elegantly crafted piece with deep intellectual insight and soul-exploring performance, perfect plot realism with great dialogue, and offers great editing of completely realistic action scenes? NO! This isnβt another La La Land or Inception or Revenant or Interstellar. This movie is all fun! Crazy awesome cool fun (and in some cases, of course impossible), and breathtaking extreme stunts! Diesel is charismatic and attractive, and the woman is a sexy and charming villain.
The plot is enough. How they get rid of their communication tower doesn’t make much sense, otherwise, you can miss another amazing stunt scene, so once again, who cares! There’s also a bit of humor and decent lines. One of the bond spoofings is also fun to profit from (the bond style is full of gadgets that are virtually useless). The film’s non-extreme form is also refreshing. There are only basic shooting and action content, no extreme violence/gore, no extreme profanity, no extreme porn, and no extremely “important ” profound morals. In other words, nothing can detract from the fun of the impressive fast-paced stunt festival, which is relaxing, refreshing, and visually great. The perfect summer action movie!
Conclusion
After seeing all the stars in the rating section of this movie on the internet, I thought it to be bad. Like honestly, I never thought there could be an action sequence this good. xXx didnβt disappoint me for sure. Maybe you should watch it too, if you havenβt already.
