Review
Perhaps, none would have presented a triangle love story like this and that’s the primary factor that makes Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal interesting. It is not about a man loving two women at a time, trying to play safe while hiding the other from one. It is about a guy who falls in love with two women, while those two too are aware of the same.
Vignesh Sivan and Vijay Sethupathy are the perfect director actor combo to pull this thing off. While Samantha looks too pretty and glamorous, Nayantara shines as an epitome of beauty. Rambo being the innocent man he is, spending time with the ‘loves’ of his life is interesting to watch.
With Anirudh’s BGM and songs, it looks all colorful and peppy but yes, the movie has flaws. Characters lack depths sometime and a lot of attributes injected to those characters seem unwanted. There are lag at points and all, but when an emotional angle is presented amidst the narration, it comes back to track.
Conclusion
Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal is an average movie, a one time watch.
