Summary
Abdul Khaliq comes to India from Dubai to attend his friend’s wedding and meet Sita on his way. Both Sita and Abdul are headed to the same wedding and Abdul invites her to join him in his car. Abdul who was actually planning to kidnap the bride and get his friend married to her gets trapped in a time-loop after accidental events. Abdul must fight Dhanushkodi to get out of the inevitable time-loop he’s stuck in.
Review
To make a movie on time-loop, one must write it in a brilliant way. To present a complex topic in a simple and understandable way is what Venkat Prabhu had to do to make this movie work and he succeeded in it. With his writing skills and brilliant editing work, Maanadu for sure will please the audience.
STR gave one of his best performances in the movie as Abdul Khaliq but the one who stole the entire show is none other than S. J. Suryah. He was phenomenal as Dhanushkodi and injected humor at the perfect place with his trademark style. Yuvan Shankar Raja is like the backbone of the movie and contributed a lot towards the movie’s success. His terrific BGM assures you goosebumps at a lot of places.

Maanadu is a movie you shouldn’t miss if you’re a fan of action, thrillers, and twists!
