Introduction

Mosagallu is a movie based on true events related to a technical

support scam that happened in India where a team of scammers looted a huge amount of money from the tax-payers of the United States of America.

“Manchu Vishnu and Kajal gave terrific performances and Suniel Shetty and Navadeep also best fitted to their roles. It is a blockbuster movie with a social message and is worth watching in the theater.”

The rating I give for Mosagallu will be 07/10.

Summary

Anu and Arjun are twins with Anu being the elder one who born 10 seconds before Arjun (You can hear her irritate Arjun, and us too after a while, telling about this). Both are seen suffering through poverty-filled childhood and by witnessing the turmoils their parents went through to set-up a decent livelihood.

Years later, Arjun is seen working in a Call Center and Anu is a housewife who stays with Arjun after her broken marriage and could be seen ill-treated by her husband who denies signing divorce papers. By now both have learned the mantra that ‘Money is everything’ and Arjun is seen earning by selling data to the dark web through the call center he is working in. Arjun’s CEO Vijay notices this and he joins hands with Arjun with a plan to make more money by conning money from US Tax Payers. Anu too joins the team and the rest of the story is about how this gang of people loots around $380 Million from the citizens of the US with their idea.

Performance

The performance of artists is one of the biggest strengths of Mosagallu. Kajal Aggarwal as Anu delivers a stellar performance onscreen being a smart woman and a fierce sister. Vishnu Manchu as Anu’s brother Arjun has delivered a decent performance. Sunil Shetty is a cop in this cat-and-mouse game at times manages to give a light humor touch to the movie. Naveen Chandra as Sid also received praise from the audience for his acting.

Review

The slow narration of the story is one major drawback of the movie and the editing looks pretty clumsy too. One of the biggest savior to overcome these flaws of Mosagallu is the terrific background score of Sam CS and he has balanced the mood of the movie throughout. It is a treat to watch Kajal perform as Anu and I must mention her multiple times here coz I felt that she did the best among the rest of the cast.

Verdict

Mosagallu is a decent watch and sheds light on the biggest IT scam of the world that was done by Indians.

Conclusion
