Review
Abhinav Sunder Nayak’s making elevates the whole movie to a different level. Mukundan Unni is a grey-shaded character and the entire film basically exposes this grey shade in a person in various scenarios. Mukundan Unni is an extreme version of such a character. One who goes to any extent to attain success.
It takes guts for an actor like Vineeth Sreenivasan to take up such a role and he aced it onscreen with his brilliant performance. A good part of the movie is carried by Mukundan’s mind voice and his calculations. Right from the start, during the beginning credit, the director thanks no one and specifies it onscreen, shrinks the screen size and forces the audience to watch whatever is shown to them, making them expect any compromise in the world of Mukundan Unni. The execution pattern of Mukundan Unni Associates is new and when an editor becomes a maker, such brilliant output will be the result.
Overall, Mukundan Unni Associates is a movie with no cliches, and no compromises with Mukundan’s dark side thrown at you in a humorous way.
Conclusion
Mukundan Unni Associates is without a doubt a well-made dark humor movie in India and a must-watch!
