One Line Review: A female-centric drama which even male should watch

What’s it About?
Yo, what’s up? Today I watched Pagglait and not gonna lie it really put my mood to sorrow not because it was bad, but because it was too good of a sad drama that it really hit me deep. Let’s see what Pagglait is up to.
Plot Summary
Sanya loses her husband at a very young age. Her in-laws are depressed as her husband was the only source of finance for them. But the loss does not seem to affect sandhya at large as she took care of it really well and use to be active on social media quite often which puts her in-laws and quirky relatives in thinking. Later she came to know that her husband left 50 Lakh rupee insurance in her name. Now the relatives are convincing her to hand over the entire money to her in-laws.

Sanya is right on track in this film. Which shows us how talented she is. She can adapt to any role given to her. I saw her in the movie ‘Pataaka’ and ‘Dangal’ and I became a big admirer of her acting.
In this film she was supposed to play a girl which has just lost her loved one, she wants to have a shoulder to cry upon but finds none. She is expected by society to behave in a certain way but no one really cares about her. No doubt that she did justice with the role. The way she acted made me feel the things for the character at the eternal level.
Story Selection
The story is very well picked, crafted, and executed, again giving praise to Sanya and the Director. These type of feminist stories are trending nowadays, not because feminism is on mainstream but because the amount of audience which connects to these stories is massive. Ask any girl, she will explain to you how miserable life can be if you are born as a girl in India. Imagine the sorrow and level of connectivity when any such girl comes across stories like Pagglait.
Giving equal importance to crafting and putting different pieces of stories together of course. No story can survive if it is not taken care of seriously.
Verdict
This movie is sort of female-centric. Males are not going to enjoy it or even understand it to that level. Still, it is worth a watch even if you are a male, but bring a female friend with you, you’ll thank me.
