Raat Akeli Hai is a Big Bazaar in movies. It has it all. Suspense, Thrill, Satire, emotions, Confusion, performances, execution… But these “having it all” things turn out bad sometimes and that’s what happens with this movie. Keep reading to find out.

Plot Summary
A newly married, and quite old landlord gets murdered on his first night (First night with his new wife, to be clear). Inspector Jatin Yadav takes charge of this case to investigate the mystery but he has his own issues with life which is impacting his professional life also.
Watch how his mismanagement turns out to be conflicting with the investigation and how he finishes the case.
What’s to Like/DisLike?
Nawazuddin ?
The Opening shot is very well set, very well planned, very well executed, and placed. The dark background, the thrill-filled music, everything matches the aura. It sets the mood for the whole film. You’ll know what’s coming your way.
Then, Nawaz enters the scene, changing the environment completely, with an emotional touch with his mother, which looks very beautiful. Overall, Nawaz has the screen captured the whole time.
Slow Tempo ?
The only problem being the film losing its thrill in the middle of the story. It goes in a totally different direction than it should have. It really kills the mood which was set by the opening shots and sequences. Rest is good, nothing to complain about other than that.
Farewell Words
I think the filmmakers were looking to create a masterpiece that has all the elements in it but all they ended up making is “Halwa’ which, strangely, still tasted really good.
Anyway, the only thing that matters is I really enjoyed the movies, it could have been more thrilling in the second half. Make sure to watch this and see if what I wrote made any sense at all or not.
