Review
Stree was a bug success in Bollywood, as a clean horror comedy entertainer. The movie discussed a tale inspired from a real incident in South India about the ghost of a women hinting men in a town. Now, as the second installment of Stree drops, it is now a part of a bigger universe with Bhediya and Munjya added in. With zero lag, the movie swoops into the tale right from the start. The starting credit is a revisit to the happenings in Stree and how Chanderi have changed since Stree’s curse is lifted. It was a great start for a movie with no beating around the bush whatsoever. The racy, straight to the point screenplay kept people hooked to the movie.
What worked big time for Stree 2 is that the makers were able to successfully resume the story exactly in the same tempo of the first part. With the characters being neatly developed with dialogues matching with their personality as in the first part. It is often seen that while making sequels, makers mess up the continuity of characters. Luckily, writing was on point in Stree 2. The movie promises a huge load of ROFL moments throughout. From Rajkumar to Pankaj Tripathi to Aparshakti, everyone were competing with each other in terms of performance. Abhishekh Banerjee had done a fabulous job in Stree 2 as Jana, managing to cackle laughter every now and then. Shraddha gets to do a touch of massy role with some action sequence as well. Her character was maintained well as the mystery girl in part 1. Exquisite locations for songs as well as the ageing look of the fort shown in part 1 boasted of a commendable work by art department. Songs were decent and nothing felt off the chart.
Maddock films have blended multiple universes together in Stree 2 to make things very interesting yet convincing. You are in for a treat with some very surprising cameos too. Tamannaah Bhatia has appeared as Shama, a dancer for a performance in Stree 2. This song ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ ended up as one of the biggest promotional factor for Stree 2. Looks like Tamannaah has turned out to be that lucky charm all filmmakers are looking for. Exposing her highly seductive curves in an ample amount, she gifted the movie an oomph factor in the song.

The VFX of the movie was decent. Though the ending portion of the movie kind of started moving to a point of confusion, Rajkumar and gang’s hilarious elements managed to keep things together. Stree 2 ends with a post credit scene giving a glimpse of what’s about to come next.
Conclusion
Stree 2 is a hilarious ride – arguably even better than part 1. Watch it in theatres!
