Summary
The story starts as two cops start investigating a break-in that happened in the house of a mathematician Alan Turing. Alan reveals about his life during the time of world war 2 while he is interrogated.
During world war 2, Germany will be using a complicated cryptographic device to communicate which is called ‘Enigma’. It was almost impossible for Britain to decode the encrypted messages sent by the Nazis during the war due to the complex algorithm used by the device. Alan helps the team by trying to build out a Universal Machine that can not only decrypt the messages encrypted by Enigma but could also be used to decrypt any kind of encryption.
Review
Benedict Cumberbatch is the heart and soul of this movie. The actor delivered a brilliant performance being Alan Turing onscreen. I must admit that he was exceptional because he made me love the name Alan Turing which I once hated during my college days! The plot stuck to the core of the story without causing any kind of lags in the narration and hence the movie was pretty neat, strong and well-executed.

Watch it to know more about one of the hidden truths of world war 2, about Alan Turing, and to witness Benedict at his best!
