There’s Someone in Your House is a classic slasher film in every sense of the word. If you enjoy films in which people are cut open and stalked and harassed before being murdered in the blink of an eye, this will be a welcome addition to your collection.
Starts off with a bang
As is customary in slasher films, the film begins with a murder to give us a sense of what we’re in for. Though Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer are similar films, there is something unique about this film that sets it apart from them. While killing their victims, the killer disguises themselves as their victims. Despite the fact that it appears to be fairly insignificant, it is incredibly creepy.
In addition, what about severing the Achilles tendon? Yeah, it’s pretty gnarly. For those who find themselves easily disgusted, this will most likely not be the best choice for you. The kills are, without a doubt, the best part of the movie. Everyone else, on the other hand, will have a good time watching this.
Strong characters
The characters are unbearable to watch. At Makani’s school, there are several cliques, one of which is the b*tch clique, which is responsible for the murders of Makani and her friends. Because of how insufferable they are, it’s only natural that they would suffer. You applaud as they are assassinated (which is a strange sensation to have, if I’m being completely honest). How badly do people have to f- up before people want them to end up in a ditch with their hands in their pockets?
Furthermore, the motivations of the characters have been well-developed. You might believe that everyone is to blame, such as how nasty seniors can be in schools. Because of the bullying and mistreatment, you get the impression that everyone has a reason to do something terrible.’ There are plenty of twists and turns in the film to keep you guessing, so don’t get too excited just yet. You aren’t figuring things out so quickly, are you?
Everyone in the film There’s Someone in Your House is exceptionally talented. They are relatable, funny, and tremendously entertaining. The “secrets party” is fascinating to watch, and the transformation of memorabilia into bongs is incredible. Yes, that is exactly what I want to watch. Our protagonists are people with whom you have a strong emotional connection and who you want to see through to the end. But who is the true assailant? Is it one of them, or a group of them? Is it the most obvious topic to discuss? That’s something you’ll have to find out by watching the movie!
Conclusion
When Someone is in Your House is a good and interesting addition to the slasher genre, and it will keep you on your toes throughout. It feels like a throwback to a bygone era, a love letter to the great slashers of the past. If you’re in the mood for some blood and gore, as well as some creepy moments, then you should definitely check this one out.
