I had a hard time accepting that her real name is Emma Watson as I grew up watching her play Hermione in the Harry Potter series. It was like watching someone grow along your side.
So here’s, to my whole childhood, I’m listing top 10 best Emma Watson’s work since her debut…

Harry potter (2001 to 2011)
This movie series revolves around the adventure and life story of Harry Potter in Hogwarts school. Where he meets Hermione and Ron. He struggles with his personal life as he lives with his uncle and aunt who are cruel, as he lost his parent during his birth. Covering up various parts of their life including the love triangle between those three and fight with Lord Voldemort who want to become immortal.
Beauty and the Beast (2017)
An arrogant prince is cursed by a mysterious enchantress to life his life as a hideous monster. Only way to regain his humanity is to love and get loved by a young woman. Belle, comes to his castle in search of her father who is kept in the castle as a prisoner, and choses to be in his place. Belle starts to see a good man inside the prince and starts to develop love and respect for her. But will she be able to help him regain is humanity before the last petal falls?
The perks of being a wallflower (2012)
Charlie is an introvert boy. He wants to become a writer but doesn’t know what to write about. He goes to school where he is not welcomed by anyone because of his introvert nature until he meets Sam and Patrick. They teach him how to live life and enjoy like no one is watching. They teach him how to scream in joy when you get below average grades in tests. How to do stupid mistake and still be happy about it.
The Colony (2015)
Lena and Daniel love each other. Daniel gets abducted by Pinochet’s police and kept in a place called Colonia Dignidad, a place whose reality is unknown to public. Lena in search of Daniel enters the Colonia Dignidad, a place from where escaping is impossible. She gets physically and emotionally abused in there. But she finally meets Daniel. Will they be able to escape from there?
The bling Ring (2013)
A group of teen girls who are influenced by luxurious lifestyle they see in magazines goes to a party where they see an open car parked outside. They steal things and cash from it. Marc mentions that one of her wealthy friend will be out of town, they all go to her house and steal whatever pleases them. Then they use internet to track celebrities who seems out of town and go to their place to steal from them.
Little Women (2019)
This movie revolves around a life of four sisters. One of them wants to be a writer but finds it very difficult to break in this male dominant industry. Another one (Emma Watson) is a talented actress who is too afraid to live her dreams and lets fate decide his life. They all unites back when one of her sisters fall sick. What’s in their destiny, will they get a breakthrough?
The Circle (2017)
Mae is a college graduate who gets his first job in a revolutionary tech company The Circle in department of Customer Experience. But as she ranks high in the corporate ladder, she gets to meet the owner of the company, who wants her to work in the next and biggest project of the company which will change the world of social networking. But the project is a bit dangerous for privacy of people (including her friends and family).
Ballet shoes (2007)
Three sisters are adopted and raised by the great uncle Matthew who is an explorer. These sister have dreams of their own and are ambitious to fulfill them. But it gets extremely tough to even survive without food, money and shelter when Uncle Matthew disappears all of sudden. How will they survive this physical and emotional turmoil?
Regression (2015)
In late 90s America, a girl Angela goes missing and leaves a handwritten note accusing his father of an unspeakable crime to which her father pleads guilty though he has no recollection of it and doesn’t remember anything. A trained and experienced psychologist is asked for help who helps Angela’s father relive the entire moments which reveals horrifying discoveries that shocks the whole nation.
Your Voice in my Head (2020 under development)
Based on the book “Your voice in my head” by Emma Frost, this movie revolves around the story of author about the self-destructing behavior due to her loss in love and personal life.
This movie is yet to come but resembles the exact same plot of the book. I’m so excited to see the characters living on the screen.
Final words
It’s no surprise to me that she plays a role of a perfectionist girl in Harry Potter series. She’s just playing herself the whole time as she likes to do things in perfection. God is unfair to make someone so much attractive.
