Summary

CI Seethapathi seeks the help of Waltair Veerayya, a notorious criminal, to bring in an international criminal, Solomon Caesar, who had killed all the cops in Seethapathi’s station while he was away. Veerayya, who was looking for money to fight a case in court, agrees to bring Solomon from Malaysia. Seethapathi along with Veerayya’s gang reaches Malaysia. Veerayya learns that Solomon is the brother of international drug lord Michael Caesar.

Veerayya plans to bring Solomon to India by befriending him. Solomon, who learns that Veerayya is not his friend and is planning to cleverly get him to India, turns against Veerayya. At this point, everyone learns that Veerayya had a past with Solomon’s brother Michael, and it was actually Veerayya who used Seethapathi to get to Solomon.

Review

Waltair Veerayya is such a character that stays with you even after completing the movie. Just like in Maari, where Dhanus played a rowdy with peculiar characteristics, Chiranjeevi steals the show in Waltair Veerayya. The plot looks average with nothing too interesting happening. Only a well-written character can hold up such a movie, and that’s exactly what Chiranjeevi does here.

What makes Veerayya’s first half watchable is Chiranjeevi, and when Mass Maharaja Raviteja joins the show in the second half, the action just doubles. Basically, Waltair Veerayya is a complete treat for fans. So, if you are expecting a content-oriented movie, steer clear of this one. Well, sometimes all we expect from stars like Chiranjeevi is to watch something like this. just to watch something mindlessly and enjoy the stars stealing the show.

Conclusion

Chiranjeevi’s slang and mannerisms are what make this otherwise empty movie watchable.
